About the District

The Delaware SWCD, founded in 1944 is one of 88 conservation districts in Ohio and one of nearly 3000 nationwide. We are led by five dedicated local volunteer residents who are elected to a three-year term as Board Supervisors. Staffed with federal and state/county professionals, we assist Delaware County residents, landowners, and communities with their natural resources conservation needs.

Aerial Photography

Aerial photography of Delaware County includes current and historic flights from 1939, 1951, 1957, 1964, 1980, 1988, 1997, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006. Photos of all flights may be viewed at the SWCD office. Photocopies of aerials may be obtained at the SWCD office.
